The Facebook removed a restriction for users under the age of 18, which did not allow them to share their publications except with their friends and not with the whole network, according to a Reuters publication.
The social network reported that teenagers will now be able to change settings and share their data with the public. Up to now, a teen 's publications in Facebook were visible only to his friends and friends of their friends.
The Facebook said late yesterday that the default setting ceased to exist.
"Teenagers who use social media are quite aware, and all their posts about political commitment, activism, or their thoughts on a new movie can now be heard," Facebook announced.
