End of support for Internet Explorer and old Edge

In exactly one year, on August 17, 2021, Internet Explorer 11 will no longer be supported for Microsoft Web Services, such as Office 365, OneDrive, Outlook, and more.
Microsoft will also end support for Internet Explorer 11 with the Microsoft Teams web application later this year, with support ending November 30.

However, Microsoft's move to stop supporting Internet Explorer 11 in its major web applications is a first step.

Along with his support fee , Microsoft plans to end support for the existing legacy version of Microsoft Edge on March 9, 2021 as well.

After the end of support date, the old version of Edge will no longer receive security.
Microsoft aims to move existing Windows 10 users to the new Chromium-based Edge browser and says that new and future Windows feature updates will include the new Edge browser.

Microsoft has been working for years to stop using and supporting Internet Explorer.
The company first introduced its new Edge browser (the first Edge) in 2015, codenamed Project Spartan. It was the beginning of the end for Internet Explorer.
