Facebook in its effort to help users who have suicidal thoughts and has begun to use artificial intelligence to identify which members of it have aspirations for suicide.
This intention was announced last month by Mark Zuckerberg himself, and it was clear that it was only a matter of time to start Facebook to act on addressing this important issue.
So it seems that it has now developed algorithms that warn them about the intentions of users based on their posts and the comments they leave to their friends. Then one team of the company looks at all the flagged messages, and decides the ways they can offer some help.
In relative post of Facebok states: “There is one death by suicide worldwide every 40 seconds and suicide is the second leading cause of death for children aged 15-29.”
On the other hand, the company suggests that if you see a comment that worries you that a fellow human has suicidal tendencies you can report the post on Facebok. The company has staff working for this service over XNUM.
