The free version of OneNote 2013 for Windows is now a full edition

Apply notes OneNote Microsoft is now coming with enabled all features of in free .OneNote

About a year ago, Microsoft made OneNote 2013 available for free for Mac and Windows platforms, but for Windows some were only available in its full application included in the Office Suite.

These features are now enabled for all – there is no longer any functional difference between the and the free version of OneNote.

This means that all users of OneNote 2013 will be able to:

  • Add password protection to specific parts of your documents
  • They see previous versions of the page through Page History
  • Take notes during audio or video
  • They search for specific words in voice or video recordings
  • Embed Office documents or other files directly into their notebooks

Keep in mind that OneNote 2013 is different from the corresponding version Windows 8 which is more friendly with touch screens. The first is a much more powerful desktop application included in the Office Suite, while the other is a lighter metro version of Windows 8.

Microsoft has probably made this change, in anticipation of the revised versions of OneNote for both Office 2016 and Windows 10 Office - which will be released later this year. Of course, OneNote 2013 users should not miss this offer that is irrelevant to what will happen with the 2016 version.

You can download the updated free version of OneNote 2013 now from here .
