As you may already know, Office 365 for iOS devices is already available, but the new version of Office specifically targets iPads, offering options for their owners to work on the go.
Julia White, head of Microsoft's Office Division Product Management, unveiled the new Office for iPad during an event in San Francisco, with new CEO Satya Nadella in attendance to discuss his efforts Redmond in this particular market.
White has reported that everything has been built from scratch for the flawless application works on iPad devices.
Office for iPad is available for free, only if one wants to open documents without editing them.
