Toshiba has announced its first laptop which will have a screen capable of 4K resolution. This is the Satellite P55t model, which will have a 15,6-inch screen with a resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels.
More in detail, Toshiba's P55t is one of the first portable computer systems that have the 4K Ultra HD image rendering capability. The touch screen of the system is 15,6 diagonal, 282 ppi (pixels per inch) and TruBrite technology. At the same time, it is the first display that receives the Technicolor certification.
According to Toshiba, the specific features allow the screen to render images and Colouras realistically as possible. In addition, each laptop will have a built-in 'Chroma Tune' application that will allow users to choose from a range of different color profiles, the one that best suits their needs.
Regarding the rest of its technical characteristics, the Satellite P55t will be able to use processors Haswell of Intel, up to the top model Core i7, while its memory will be able to go up to 16GB DDR3.
A special point of reference is the built-in, high-performance card graphics AMD Radeon R9 M265X with 2GB GDRR5 dedicated video memory. Its equipment is completed by a storage space of one Terabyte (TB), speakers from Harmon Kardon and a backlit keyboard.
