The publication of selfies in social networks, for others may seem something silly, or something completely pointless. Like the Triana Lavey, a public relations director in Los Angeles, believes that a good selfie allows us to re-discover yourself every day.
So Lavey believes she gave $15.000 to one plastic surgeon to get the perfect selfie face: a face that would look like it was made with Photoshop, the person she always wanted, but never had.
ABC even followed her up to the surgery room and published the video below.
"For me, plastic surgery should be the last resort. "After trying everything else, once you have good discipline in your diet and exercise, then you can go for surgery," Lavey advises before entering the operating room.
These are options. I guess Lavey didn't want them free available applications that would allow them to remove all the imperfections from the photo she wanted to post, because she needed a strong dose of self-esteem…
