Today, European Digital Rights (EDRi) publishes its latest brochure "TTIP and Digital Rights"[PDF file 16 pages in English]
Η Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP) / Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership is a trade agreement negotiated between the United States of America and the European Union.
TTIP has already raised many concerns between civil society, trade unions, consumer groups, certain businesses and European and national institutions.
From a digital rights perspective, EDRi and its members have identified several threats to transparency, democracy, the rule of law, fundamental rights to privacy and data protection, net neutrality and human rights in general.
As a result, we decided to publish a brochure explaining the concerns of EDRi and its members and presenting our red lines for TTIP. The brochure is structured in eight chapters, accompanied by an introduction and a conclusion with the possible consequences.
