It is not yet clear whether the Turkish authorities have contacted Google to remove the videos, but as it turns out the service is no longer available in Turkey unless they use alternative connection methods.
Google has not yet issued a statement on the matter, but several Turkish Twitter users have confirmed that YouTube appears to be completely blocked throughout Turkey.
How did it all start? According to a publication of Reuters, a user posted today, a video showing the head of Turkey's intelligence service discussing with the foreign minister and the deputy head of the armed forces about a possible military intervention in Syria.
