Twitter seems to be preparing something new. As larger companies have already released applications and services for group video calling, Twitter is trying to try something completely different.
Reverse engineer Alessandro Paluzzi has discovered that Twitter is working on a feature called Audio Space.

With Audio Space users will be able to have group voice chat rooms from where they can talk to people who follow or invite people.
One might imagine that the new feature would only be suitable for small groups, given the challenges of understanding a group of people talking at the same time.
Mention that this is a test performed by the company, and that we may not see it available to the general public at all.
