Very good news for micro-blogging fans: The Twitter officially removed the character limit from instant messages.
The change, which will be released today, means that you can send messages as large as you want without having to cut words to not exceed the (spastical) character limit.
So messages as long as you want from the web, or from any official Twitter application, but also from third-party applications that will have to update them to add the new feature.
In July, Twitter mentioned a 10.000 character limit in a note to developers, but the company announced today that private messages will now be able to have "unlimited" characters.
Twitter also updated the iOS, Android, Twitter for Mac, and TweetDeck and Twitter for the Web applications to allow instant messaging without limitations on characters.
The change just begins to circulate and if you have not come, you will see it shortly. Patience and Deprivation!
