Twitter is asking laid-off employees to return

Last Friday, the microblogging platform laid off half of its employees after the acquisition of the company with 44 billion dollars from Elon Musk and the firing of the CEO, CFO and head of legal policy.

According to one publication of Bloomberg, some of those being asked to return were accidentally fired. They left before management realized that their work and experience could be essential to creating the new features Musk envisions.

As of today, Twitter has about 3.700 employees, according to people familiar with the matter.
