Η u-Blox (www.u-blox.com), a world leader in the field of semiconductors and modules for positioning and wireless communications systems, opened its new offices in Athens.
The opening comes as a culmination of the acquisition of Antcor, a year ago, companyof a pioneer in the field of intellectual property for wireless networks (Wi-Fi baseband intellectual property), highlighting u-blox's dedication to the development of short-range wireless technologies with IoT (Internet of Things) applications
Present at the opening ceremony was Mr. Herbert Blaser, Senior Director u-Blox, who said:
"The new offices in Athens will enhance our know-how in design chip for small-scale wireless technologies and will expand our capabilities to provide reliable solutions for M2M communications in the market ”.

The new facilities are located on the top floor of a modern building in Marousi, at a focal point for the Companies high technology.
u-blox is expected to double its existing team in Greece in the coming months, aiming to attract highly skilled engineers in the fields of software development and planningof integrated circuits.
