For the last 2 years, unlocking mobile phones without the permission of a publisher that launched it was illegal in the United States. Not anymore!
The US Congress and the Senate have finally agreed that unlocking mobile phones should not be an illegal act (punishable by up to 5 years in prison - we always talk about America of Freedoms)
The bill is set to update every 3 year. This means that everything can be changed again, for completely ridiculous reasons.
But until then you can enjoy yourself Appliances from the USA. The news concerns the Greeks who have acquaintances in the US and can send them some device locked by US mobile service provider. These devices are cheaper than similar ones on the domestic market.
Immediately afterwards, they can legally unlock it in Greece.
