Ubuntu 16.04.2 is here: The second maintenance update of Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Long Support) has just been released and is available for λήψη in the Canonical repositories.
"The Ubuntu team is pleased to announce the launch of Ubuntu 16.04.2 LTS for Desktop, Server, Cloud, and other Ubuntu flavors. Like previous LTS series, 16.04.2 includes improvements to hardware support for use in newer material"States the official announcement of the publication published by Adam Conrad.

The ISO files below can be used for a clean install of Ubuntu that will allow you to immediately access newer ones applications and improvements without having to download dozens of updates after installing the new system.
Please note that ISO images for the flavors have been updated: Kubuntu, Xubuntu, Mythbuntu, Ubuntu GNOME, Lubuntu, Ubuntu Kylin, Ubuntu MATE and Ubuntu Studio.
