A while ago Canonical announced the release of the sixth versionς LTS (Long Term Support) του Ubuntu στις 21 Απριλίου και παρουσίασε επίσημα τα νέα χαρακτηριστικά του επερχόμενου λειτουργικού συστήματος.

In addition, the Ubuntu 16.04 LTS operating system will be the first of its kind to support CephFS and ZFS filesystems for large-scale cloud storage.
Canonical says it has made great progress with the vision of convergence, bringing the Ubuntu platform closer to the Linux OS that will work on desktop, phones, servers and IoT.
