Although it has been delayed for six days, the final Beta version of the upcoming Ubuntu 16.10 Yakkety Yak operating system is available today for all stakeholders.

“The Ubuntu team is pleased to announce the final beta release of Ubuntu 16.10 Desktop, Server, and Cloud products. Today also marks the release of Beta 2 for the various opt-in flavors Ubuntu MATE 16.10, Ubuntu Kylin 16.10, Lubuntu 16.10, Xubuntu 16.10, Kubuntu 16.10, and Ubuntu Studio 16.10.
Mythbuntu and Edubuntu distributions have not been released at this time.
The final Ubuntu 16.10 Yakkety Yak will be released next month at 13 October 2016.
