Ubuntu 18.04 LTS: Sign up for Bionic Beaver

Of course, it's not a competition as we know it, as no one will win a prize. Just like anyone who manages to create the best wallpaper, they will know that their work will appear on of , millions of Ubuntu users worldwide.

Αυτή τη φορά, εκτός από τα wallpapers, η Ubuntu Free Culture Showcase δέχεται και -video and music samples that will be available in the “Samples” folder of the upcoming Ubuntu LTS 18.04.

"Long-term support versions like Ubuntu 18.04 LTS are very important because they are downloaded and installed ten times more often than any temporary version," says Nathan Haines.

“This means that wallpapers, videos and music sent will appear ten times more than in other releases. So artists, take your pick your works".

Submissions can be submitted until March 15, 2018.

All submitted works must be licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike, Creative Commons Attribute or Creative Commons Zero license. Of course, you should only submit your work, not someone else's, and you should follow the Ubuntu Code of Conduct.

The Ubuntu 18.04 LTS will be released on April 26, 2018.
