Canonical has announced the release of Ubuntu 23.04 codenamed Lunar Lobster. The new version will be supported for nine months and features the GNOME 44 desktop.
This release also brings a new system installer Subiquity that replaces the old Ubiquity installer.
“Astrologers will be delighted to discover that a new constellation has appeared in the night sky ahead of the release of Ubuntu 23.04. An upcoming Lunar Lobster is rumored to bring good luck to administrators who want to deploy and manage Ubuntu Desktop on a large scale.
The desktop uses GNOME 44 to ensure usability for everyone.”
