The IEEE Student Branch of the University of Western Macedonia in Kastoria in collaboration with the Open Technologies Organization EELLAK and the Greek Ubuntu Community present the event “Ubuntu 24.04 Noble Numbat Release”.
The event will take place in the hall B1 of our university on 25 April of 2024 and time 19:00.
At the “Ubuntu 24.04 Noble Numbat Release Event” there will be:
- Introducing the Kastoria Linux Society team by Mario Roussos, Coordinator of the Kastoria Linux Society
- Introducing Ubuntu 24.04 by the members of the Kastoria Linux Society
- Live Demo of Ubuntu 24.04 Noble Numbat by the members of the Kastoria Linux Society
- Historical Review of the ubuntu-gr Community by Dimitris Doula, Postgraduate student of DPMS Advanced Information Technologies and Services, Ubuntu Member and Administrator of the official page ubuntu-gr.org and forum.ubuntu-gr.org.
- Use of Linux and Free Software during studies by Dimitris Doula, Postgraduate student of DPMS Advanced Information Technologies and Services, Ubuntu Member and Administrator of the official page ubuntu-gr.org and forum.ubuntu-gr.org.
The event is expected to offer many opportunities to learn, network and discuss open technology and open source software.
