Canonical has released a beta snapshot for Ubuntu 24.10. The release notes mention OpenSSL, systemd 256.5, and GNOME upgraded to version 47.
“GNOME has been updated to include new features and fixes since the latest GNOME release, GNOME 47 126. In GNOME Shell and Mutter, Ubuntu includes additional updates to improve stability and performance. The Ubuntu dock visualizes snap refreshes and includes better handling for PWAs installed via Chromium snap The Sysprof app is installed by default to discover performance issues in your apps.”
