Ultra Adware Killer is a powerful adware and malware removal tool for Windows that can scan all users on a system. This can save you a lot of time as you can scan other Windows accounts besides your own.
Ultra Adware Killer removes browser toolbars, ad-ons, plugins, unwanted search engines and restores your browser homepage. Deletes unwanted programs (PUP's), as well as trojans, rootkits, ransomware and generally all other forms of malware.
It also allows reset of the settings in your browser, restoring them to normal mode as it was at the time of first installation.
Ultra Adware Killer is free, but it also has a PRO version. This version offers more features, such as command line commands and automatic scan scheduling.
To start a scan, tap it button Scan. The same button is then renamed to Stop. Of course you can press it again at any time during the scan to cancel the action. The entire scan usually takes a few minutes.
If you want to scan only the current user, don't use it choice Scan all users (Scan all users) before starting the scan. The SYSTEM user account is always checked.
The progress bar to the right of the scan button will inform you of the scan progress and a text below the progress bar will tell you which part of your disk is currently being detected.
While scanning, you can see all the items found. Double-clicking on one of them will automatically take you to its place in the registry. You can also navigate to the file system, where the infected file is located, by right-clicking and Open File Location.
When the scan is complete, a message will appear telling you what the application has detected on your system.
