Universal MediaCreationTool is an open source file for Windows devices. It will help you download Windows 10 ISO images.
Unlike Microsoft Media Creation Tool, which downloads only the latest ISO available from the company, it gives the user the option to download older versions of Windows 10 as well.
The latest version of the software supports all versions of Windows 10 from Windows 10 version 1507 to Windows 10 21H1, the upcoming operating system feature update.
To download the latest version of Universal MediaCreationTool, do the following:
Open the address https://gist.github.com/AveYo/c74dc774a8fb81a332b5d65613187b15#file-mediacreationtool-bat
Select RAW at the top.
Right-click anywhere on the page and select Save As.
The file name is MediaCreationTool.bat.txt by default. You must remove the ".txt" extension from the file name.
Then run the batch file and the selection menus that you can use to select the version of Windows 10, the language and the architecture will be displayed. The tool downloads the image from a Microsoft server.
The new version supports defaults that you can use to burn the file to a USB stick or simply save the ISO.
There is also an option that allows you to upgrade automatically. It can be used to upgrade the current system, or downgrade it to another version.
