The popular Ventoy multiboot USB creator utility has been updated to version 1.0.96, a stable release that adds support for new ISOs and fixes several bugs.

The new version of Ventoy further improves the installation of Microsoft's Windows 11 operating system. The main improvement in the new version allows two options to bypass Windows 11-specific hardware requirements by default.
If you use Ventoy to create multiboot USB drives, you can download version 1.0.96 for 64-bit GNU/Linux distributions, for Windows, or as a Live ISO from official github.

Although the press releases will range from very select to rare, I said I'd pass...because sometimes the editors hide.

I got confused somewhere.
the article was uploaded on 23/12/2023, 15:11 and talks about a new version (updated today to version 1.0.96,)
Is he talking about the version that was uploaded to github in October or is there a newer one?
sorry wrong, he is talking about version 1.0.96 released in October
Those who have installed an older version of Ventoy on their stic,
they download the newest one to their computer,
they put their usb stick in the computer,
they run the new version of Ventoy – which immediately recognizes the usb stic with the pre-existing version – and
a Ventoy window opens that asks the following question – option: do you want to update (of the previous version or install a new one?
choose "update"!
Doing this move (ie: updating and not installing) does NOT erase any .iso from what we have added to our stick (either linux or windows). If we choose "install" then everything we have on our stick is deleted.
