VideoLAN VLC Media Player 3.0 RC8 one step from the final version

VideoLAN, maker of the popular VLC available for various operating systems (desktop and mobile), plans to release the final one soon VLC 3.0 to the public.

The company released a total of eight candidates to correct various issues before final release.

VLC 3.0.0 brings big changes: it supports Chromecast, new audio formats and , such as HDR, HTTP 2.0, comes with redesigned core elements, and with many improvements to all existing functions.
