VideoLAN, manufacturer company of the popular VLC Media Player available for various operating systems (desktop and mobile), just available the final version of VLC 3.0.7.1 for all platforms, Windows, MacOS and Linux.
VLC Media Player version 3.0.7.1 brings minor improvements to the previous version 3.0.7.
In the new version VLC 3.0.7 οThe developers have improved the Blu-Ray support of the player. Thus the application VLC can now play video discs, including DVD and Blu-Ray formats. Changelog, however, does not say what has improved with Blu-Ray support.
Other improvements in the new version include improved MP4 demux support, better support for Chromecast, updates for various media services such as YouTube, Soundcloud, Dailymotion and Vimeo.
The new version also fixes several issues in previous versions that caused the app to crash on iOS, various themethe audio outputs and video, as well as a distortion in videos running on functional Mac OS Mojave.
The company VideoLAN, continues its development VLC Media Player 4.0, the next major release of the media player application.
