VideoLAN, the maker of the popular VLC Media Player available for various operating systems (desktop and mobile), just available the final version of VLC 3.0.7 for all platforms, Windows, MacOS and Linux.
VLC Media Player version 3.0.7 brings minor changes and improvements to all existing features.
In the new version VLC 3.0.7 οThe developers have improved the Blu-Ray support of the player. So the application VLC can now play video discs, including DVD and Blu-Ray formats. Changelog, however, does not say what has improved with Blu-Ray support.
Other improvements in the new version include improved MP4 demux support, better support for Chromecast, updates for various media services such as YouTube, Soundcloud, Dailymotion and Vimeo.
The new release also fixes issues with previous versions that caused the app to shut down on iOS, various audio and video output issues, and a video distortion running on Mac OS Mojave.
The company VideoLAN, continues its development VLC Media Player 4.0, the next major release of the media player application.
