Canonical announced the winners of the Ubuntu 19.10 wallpaper competition and presented the default wallpapers for the upcoming Ubuntu 19.10 operating system (Eoan Ermine).
Ο Ubuntu wallpaper contest opened its doors in early July inviting photographers and graphic artists and more than 160 artists submitted their own proposal for wallpapers to be included in the upcoming operating system Ubuntu 19.10 (Eoan Ermine).
Canonical recently announced the winners of the Ubuntu wallpaper competition, which are Nicolas Ibraim Carvalho Silva, Manuel Arslanyan, Gustavo Brenner, Eiz, ANK, Midge Sinnaeve, Julian Tomasini, Marcel Kaechele, Mateus Crechele and Jelly Joe. The new default set of wallpapers will be included in the release of the Ubuntu 19.10 Beta, which is expected to release this Thursday, September 26. The regular release is expected on 17 October.
The new Ubuntu will be Canonical's 31 version and promises many new features and enhancements, including the Linux 5.2 kernel for better hardware support, the latest GNOME 3.34 desktop environment, faster boot performance and updated basics.
