He sounds the risk of a new dangerous fraud with misleading Email which is aimed at raising either personal data or money, is the Electronic Crime Protest.
This is an e-mail that has been trafficked for the last time, and with which there are allegedly employment opportunities and jobs (in managerial posts), even in our country, with high pay.
In particular, the Service of EL.AS. informs them users of the Internet, that these types of messages are intended to deceptively ("phishing") convince job seekers to send:
· or their personal ones data and data (identity card, passport, tax registration number - VAT number, etc.)
· or personal financial data (bank account numbers, PIN numbers, credit card numbers, ATM card information, etc.)
· or be asked to advance an amount in order to occupy the allegedly offered job. Indeed, in the latter case, they require money to be sent through courier companies rather than through bank accounts.
On the occasion of the distribution of this message, Cyber Crime urges citizens to be very careful when they receive such messages over the Internet in order to avoid possible deception.
In addition, the Electronic Crime Prosecutor's Office recommends and urges internet users not to send personal data or financial information to unknown persons and to cross-check the existence of the companies, which offer the jobs and communicate with them, in order to verify the content of the ads.
In particular, it is recommended:
· Cross the details of each prospective employer, professional or employment agency through a second source or phone book and then contact the employer directly.
· Do not trust those online who ask you for money in advance to get you a job or to offer you a job.
· Never agree to pay for "exclusive" job information or to get a specific job.
· Evaluate carefully contact the contact details given on job advertisements on the Internet or in relevant e-mail and be careful if there are misspellings or an e-mail address that does not mention the company name. Also pay attention to the drafting of the text, where if there are many misspellings and other inaccuracies, this is a common indication pointing to a false job ad.
· Enter the URLs in the browser instead of using hyperlinks when you check the job sources.
· Create an email address and an account for all your non-personal communications.
· Pay special attention when addressing companies located outside of our Country or receiving messages from alleged foreign companies.
· If an "opportunity" or job promises too high a salary, which in fact in a short time will double, it is probably a misleading - deceptive message. which must be checked.
