Warp VPN: Cloudflare released the 1.1.1.1 DNS service for users' privacy, 2018, and released similar applications for Android and iOS platforms that same year.
The company announced the service Warp vpn in April of 2019 and invited users from around the world to sign up for a waiting list to try it out.
The VPN service, which was initially available for very few testers, is now available to anyone using the 1.1.1.1 (1.1.1.1: Faster & Safer Internet application for Android or iOS) application for Android ή iOS.
Warp creates a VPN connection to the device that uses it to route traffic through Cloudflare servers. This means that it hides the IP address of the device and can improve performance. Cloudflare reports that Warp + users will average an 30% performance improvement when loading web pages.
The 1.1.1.1 application installs a VPN profile on the user's device when the option is selected. Cloudflare promises to collect "as little data as possible" and not to "sell, rent, share or otherwise disclose personal information".
The app shows the terms of service at first launch, which reveal what Cloudflare collects and does with the data. The data may include the application installation ID, the amount of data transferred through the Cloudflare network, and the average speed.
The registration ID is a unique random number that corresponds to each profile. Cloudflare notes that it is used only for the referral system.
Here is the basic version of Warp is free and has no restrictions. On the contrary, Warp + is an additional service that improves the performance of connections made to the device, avoiding jams and choosing the fastest routes.
Users can invite other users for a free package (1 Gigabyte Warp +) per month. Each referral that meets the criteria will add 100 Megabytes to the account of the sender of the invitation.
The second option is to pay 4 dollars a month to get Warp + Unlimited.
The Cloudflare DNS 1.1.1.1 service is always enabled and can be used without the Warp service.
The application runs automatically after you set up the VPN connection and does not require registration.
