Some of YouTube's restrictions can prevent users from watching a video without having previously signed in and without proving they are over 18 years old.
This is logical since the content of the pages in YouTube it is not always suitable for everyone. YouTube has a child-friendly app that allows parents to control what their children can watch.
YouTube also applies age restriction to view certain types of videos. It's usually a video with a lot of violence or naked. But of course, where there is a lock, there is an eyeball. You can watch all the videos without having to prove that you are at least 18 years old.
If you come across a video that asks you to log in to view it, you don't have to. There is a pretty good trick you can use to bypass the age restriction, with change of the URL. Let's see how.
If the URL of a video on YouTube looks like this:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4LRt3dSbS14
and due to content has an age limit, then all you have to do is delete the "watch?" from the Url and replace the second “=” with slash. So the url should now look like:
https://www.youtube.com/v/4LRt3dSbS14
This little trick is pretty old but still the easiest way to watch a video without having to login.
It also works regardless of the browser you use. Although we like to update our readers with any tweaks that come out on the internetnetwork we would like to mention that if you are under 18 years old and find yourself in a video that is not suitable for minors, it would be best not to watch it, because most of the time you just won't like what you saw. But if you see it, then you do so at your own risk.
