How would you feel the idea of a wearable chair in the field you work for? Certainly there are professions that will particularly appreciate the idea of a chair worn.
One of the most difficult professions is probably surgeryfundamentals which force surgeons to stand for long hours.
The chair worn is called Archelis (meaning walking chair in Japanese) is designed for surgeons, and allows them to sit during a surgery, thus reducing fatigue during the long and physically demanding act.
It has been developed for people in the medical field, but it can also help every employee in every industry who has to stay upright for a long time.
Archelis was developed by Yokohama in collaboration with Center for Frontier Medical Engineering, του Πανεπιστημίου της Chiba, τη Hiroaki Nishimura Design, και τη Japan Polymer Technology.
Their aim is to start making the product available this summer.
