Meta's WhatsApp chat app doesn't work around the world. Many users on Twitter have complained that they cannot access the service. The app shows an error message saying “Connecting to WhatsApp”.
The official WhatsApp account on Twitter doesn't report anything at the moment.
However, it may not be just WhatsApp that is experiencing problems. According to Downdetector, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook and Telegram they face problems in some countries.
Other major apps and websites like YouTube, Snapchat, and Gmail seem to be working fine at the time of writing.
