A user on GitHub has released scripts that allow anyone to download content video από πολλές δημοφιλείς streaming πλατφόρμες, όπως τις υπηρεσίες Netflix, Amazon Prime και Disney+.
The repositories, were created by the user Widevinedump, and the scripts are free to download and use. But there are some limitations, especially with CDM (Content Decryption Module) that seems to be missing from the code. This naturally limits the use of these scripts, since the content they download remains encrypted. The owner of the Widevinedump repository is asking users to send him an email to activate the locked content, for an unspecified amount of money.
The following services are supported:
'NETFLIX', 'AMAZON', 'APPLETV', 'DISNEYPLUS', 'SHAHID', 'DCUNIVERSE', 'HULU', 'STAN', 'RAKUTEN', 'GOOGLE', 'FANDANGONOW', 'PEACOCKTV', 'HBOMAX ', 'OSN'
Many online streaming services use Google's Widevine DRM technology to protection of the content from the download. The technology supports different levels that streaming services can set to secure their content. Most programs browsing they support Widevine.
The scripts mentioned above seem to work, but their use could lead to account blocking or suing users by streaming companies.
