Microsoft is preparing for the release of another cumulative update, this time for the latest version of Windows 10 called the May 2019 Update or version 1903.
Cumulative update KB4501375 is currently available to users enrolled in the May 2019 Update program Windows Insider.
After installing KB4501375, the Windows build number becomes 18362.207.
The update is offered only to its testers companyand so there is still no changelog. Of course more are expected to be published information after the official release of the update via Windows Update.
Meanwhile, there are indications that the cumulative update KB4501375 fixes an event view (logs) bug that was introduced by the previous updates published in Patch Tuesday.
According to Microsoft:
When you try to deploy, view, or create Custom Views in the Event Viewer, you may receive the error: “MMC has detected an error in a snap-in and will unload it.”. The application may stop responding or even close.
The bug also affects older versions of Windows 10, but Microsoft could try to do the Insider May 2019 Update before releasing an update for everyone.
In addition to the cumulative update KB4501375, Microsoft has also released a new servicing stack update for Windows 10. The KB4506933 update is also available to users who are registered for the May 2019 Update of Windows Insider, without a changelog.
Those registered in the Release Preview ring can get the updates from the route:
