Microsoft today released a new version of Windows 10 19044.1381 (21H2) /19043.1381 (21H1) to users following the release preview channel. This is a small update as it contains only one fix, but it is quite remarkable. The new update is added to the previous versions released a few days ago under the same KB (KB5007253).
This update fixed problems for remote printers, fixed a 32-bit Excel error, and more.
What this version brings with it in addition to these previous fixes, according to Microsoft, is fixing a problem with Windows 10 using the Windows Hello for Business service on Azure Active Directory (AD) servers. The error, among other things, caused user authentication problems.
The change log says:
Fixed an issue that could affect devices running Windows Hello for Business that are linked to Azure Active Directory (AD). These devices may have problems accessing various resources, such as shared files or websites.
