Windows 10 2004 with improved Windows Sandbox

The next version of Windows 10 is expected to be released later this month with many improvements. So many are waiting for this release.

The version of Windows 10 2004, or the May 2020 Update, is referred to by many as one service pack. This is because it does not bring many new features, but more improvements to existing features.

Windows 10 2004 with improved Windows Sandbox

Windows Sandbox is one of the features that has been greatly improved in the Windows 10 May 2020 Update, as Microsoft has added additional features based on consumer fraud.

Sandbox is a new feature that allows users to run a Windows 10 application in a separate secure sandbox environment. So whatever they run there does not affect the files stored on the device. It's like a virtual machine running in Windows 10. Sandbox is the easiest way to test applications that you would think of running on your computer.

Since Windows 10 2004, Windows Sandbox will support different settings, which means that users will be able to run it with specific parameters.

More specifically, there will be four different settings that can run scripts in Windows Sandbox:

vGPU (virtualized GPU)
Network
Shared folders
Startup script

Each configuration file will be saved in .wsb format. You will then be able to easily import the same script into a different system running Windows Sandbox. The configuration file can be run very simply by double-clicking on it, but also via the command line.

According to Microsoft, creating a simple script with basic commands is very easy, but professionals will be able to create more complex scripts that will contain more tasks to run in the Windows Sandbox.

Windows 10 2004 will be released gradually, and this is an approach the company usually uses, as it gives them more time to fix problems that may occur, but also more testers who try whether or not its operating system.
It should be noted that the problems are not only caused by OS errors, but also by the way it interacts with the hardware that each computer wears.

So there are many who have not noticed any particular problem with Windows 10, and others who really suffer with each update.
Anyway, good luck to everyone next week, when the distributions will probably start.
