In a session on the first day of Build 2016, one of the Microsoft executives showed a slide showing the map of Edge's development path, revealing that in addition to extensions, the next information, which will be called the Windows 10 Anniversary Update, will come with a built-in “browser ad blocking” feature.
As noted by ZDNet, future versions of Windows 10 could bring an early version of this ad blocker while the regular versions will be released in the summer.
