The latest tests for antivirus products conducted in November and December by AV-TEST experts reveal that only three different applications managed to reach the highest score in the three evaluation categories: better detection, performance and usability.

Windows Defender got 6 points for protection, 5,5 for performance and 6 points for usability.
The worst application in this new test round is protected.net Total AV. Its score reached just 14 points with 4 points for protection, 4 for performance and 6 points for usability.
