Microsoft has released a new build of the next version of Windows 10. The trial functional Windows 10 Build 18317 comes with some improvements to the Windows console, separates the search environment from Cortana and brings a refreshed appearance certain pages in Settings.
The Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 18317 (19H1) is released for Windows Insiders enrolled in the Fast ring.
The new build does not bring anything important change, except perhaps the separation of search from the Cortana feature, which now have different icons on the taskbar, but also some settings for adding fonts, as you can see in the images below:
Another Microsoft change that hopes for better Start functionality is the addition of a separate ShellExperienceHost.exe function. To provide the best possible experience in Start, the company split the process into ShellExperienceHost.exe and StartMenuExperienceHost.exe.
This is expected to have many benefits according to the company, such as simplifying debugging, but also separating Start from possible themethose that affect the system.
You can see more at announcement of the new build.
