Windows 10 build 18362 on the Slow Ring as a RTM candidate

Microsoft has just released Windows 10 build 18362 to Insiders registered with Slow Ring, and this is considered by many that this version is a RTM candidate, if not the RTM itself, of the forthcoming update 19H1.

Windows 10 build 18362 was originally released on Fast Ring earlier this week, and seems to be an update that fixes just three known end-user problems and a developer bug.Windows 10 build 18362

In addition, Microsoft reportedly corrected two of the most significant problems in previous builds, including one affecting the Microsoft Store and preventing automatic updating of applications.

Dona Sarkar, head of Windows Insider, reports that some Insiders in Slow Ring may encounter an error while installing this build.

"We have received reports from Windows Insiders having installation issues when they try to install this Build with error code 0x80242016. We fixed it immediately and we ask the interested users to upgrade the following item: We will share additional information when available ".

As for the likelihood of being RTM or an RTM candidate, let's remind you that we are entering the last week of March, the month that we need to complete the development of information.

According to Microsoft's version program, Windows 10 19H1, also known as April 2019 Update or just a 1903 version, is scheduled to be completed in March, and its release to the public will start in April. So if everything goes according to the program the RTM should be released next week.

So if build 18362 is actually the RTM version, it should be sent very quickly to Release Preview ring.
