Microsoft has released new ISO images for Windows 10. This time it's for her feature update of 2020 Spring (Windows 10 Spring 2020) today referred to as 20H1.
ISOs allow a clean installation of Windows 10 on build 18990, a version released by Microsoft to Insiders following the Fast Ring channel in late September.
There are three different versions of these ISOs that you can download from the Microsoft Insiders page:
The normal build, the enterprise version, but also the Home China version for the friends of the operating system from China. On the ISO download page except from the images of build 18990 (Fast Ring) there are also images from the Release channel preview namely the upcoming Windows 10 build 18363.
These ISO images can be used for a clean installation of the operating system, which is very convenient for them users who are part of the Windows Insider program and need to reset their devices.
At the same time, they can be used for essay of a specific build in a closed environment, such as a virtual machine, before the official release of Windows 10 20H1 “stable”.
Build 18990, comes with automatic reboot for UWP apps, WSL improvements and better support of the cloud to restore a computer without any particular means of recovery.
“Except for registered desktop apps, when you enable this setting, the majority of open UWP apps will now restart automatically! To reduce connection time, UWP apps restart at a minimum, in state suspensions, giving Windows and other apps more resources to get started,” Microsoft said when it released this build of Windows 10.
The development of the Windows 10 operating system 20H1 is expected to be completed by the spring of 2020 and according to the standard Microsoft program, this should be done in March. Release for everyone could start in April or May on 2020.
