The Start menu remains one of the Windows features used by most desktops, and Microsoft is well aware of that. So the company is trying to advertise the new menu that will come sometime in Windows 10.
The company currently wants a Start menu (s) with a modern feel inspired by Windows 10X, its new operating system targeting dual screen devicess.
Windows 10X features an updated interface, new icons, and visual effects that Windows users will love as soon as they see them. Many have asked Microsoft to adopt the same design in Windows 10.
Some screenshots set communicated Microsoft on Facebook earlier this week gave us an idea of what the new Start menu will look like. As you will see in the image below it looks very much like the Windows 10X menu.
The live tiles remain as you can see although many would like the company to remove them. With a light theme the Start menu looks much cleaner than it currently exists in Windows.
It remains to be seen when it will be released.
