Microsoft he published a reminder that the 2004 version of Windows 10 is nearing the end of support. The company advises users to upgrade to a newer version of the operating system.
The 2004 version of Windows 10 will stop receiving updates on December 14, and Microsoft states that updating your system is the only option for continuing to receive critical security updates.
"On December 14, 2021, all Windows 10, of 2004 and Windows Server, version 2004 will reach support end. "After this date, devices running these versions will no longer receive monthly security and quality updates containing protection against the latest threats."
Needless to say, Microsoft also recommends switching to Windows 11, at least for those who meet the system requirements of the new operating system.
