The Windows 10 May 2020 Update, also known as the 2004 version, was released in May with at least ten known issues. Microsoft later expanded the list of problems by acknowledging that this information there is another bug in the Drive Optimize tool.
After upgrading to Windows 10 version 2004, users noticed that Optimize Drives (also known as a disk defragmentation tool) did not correctly record the last time it optimized a disk.

So when you open the tool, you will see that the SSD you have on your computer states that it "needs optimization" even though you have already optimized it manually.
Since it “forgets” the optimization times, Windows 10's built-in maintenance tool starts defragmenting SSDs much more often when you rebootmovement of Windows.
Post Windows 10 Build 19042.487 (February 20) currently released for Insiders, Microsoft has finally managed to fix the problem in the rebuild tool.
As you may know, the reconstruction of an SSD on a daily basis it's not a very good idea. After ignoring user reports and feedback for over 5 months, Microsoft has finally fixed the build issue with Build 19042.487 which is currently in channel Beta.
Microsoft expects to release these updates for everyone (not just Insiders) through Windows Update and in the 2004 version later this week.
