Windows 10: why are we all Insiders?

Windows 10 October 2018 Update (1809 version) is arguably one of Microsoft's worst releases.

The way the company manages the situation shows that there was no backup plan, but also that we should now forget what we used to refer to as "fixed versions".

Windows 10

For history the 1809 version stopped circulating a few days after its official release to the public on October 2 due to one serious problem which caused the deletion of files.

From a technical point of view, Microsoft's move was right, but since then the company has not released the October release. Yes, as seems to be trying to solve a number of issues raised in Insider builds that are being released, but over a month after the first release there is no stable version.

Microsoft is even reported to have completed code fixes for most of the bugs listed lately, but has only made it available internally.

So we see that the way the company manages the situation is not the most ideal. The company declined to say when it plans to release the new "fixed" version or when the fixes will be released for the people waiting.
For now, the only way to get these updates is to join Windows Insider, which is not possible for many.

However, it seems that joining Windows Insider and installing a trial build of Windows 10 may not be much different from installing a "fixed version" of the latest releases.
