Microsoft has released the standard Windows 10 cumulative updates that do not contain security patches. This time the updates bring improvements not only for the latest build of Windows 10, but also for older versions of the operating system.
These cumulative updates update the Microsoft operating system from the Windows 10 April 2018 Update (version 1803) onwards.
Thus Windows 10 October 2018 Update (version 1809) and May 2019 Update (version 1903) are not included in the cumulative updates provided by the company.
Most likely, Windows 10 of 1809 and 1903 will receive new cumulative updates in the coming days and before the end of July.
What is important to know is that of the Windows 10 updates, only the April 2018 Update will support Home and Pro versions. Older versions will only have business versions as part of the Long-Term Channel (LTSC) program.
Below are the versions of Windows 10 that will receive the cumulative updates that were released on July 16:
Windows 10 version 1803: KB4507466 (OS Build 17134.915) |
Windows 10 version 1709: KB4507465 (OS Build 16299.1296) |
Windows 10 version 1703: KB4507467 (OS Build 15063.1955) |
Windows 10 version 1607: KB4507459 (OS Build 14393.3115) |
The above cumulative updates are already available from Windows Update and the Microsoft Update Catalog. You can install updates directly from the path:
Settings> Update and Security> Windows Update> Check for updates.
