Windows 10 KB5060534, KB5060532, KB5060530, KB5060529

This week, Microsoft released updates via Patch Tuesday for June 2025 for the Windows 10 (KB5060533 / KB5060531 / KB5061010 / KB5060998) and for Windows 11 (KB5060842, KB5060999)At the same time, it also released dynamic updates (recovery updates) for Windows 10. This time there were no such updates for Windows 11, which is quite rare.

Dynamic updates bring improvements to Windows Recovery in the form of Windows Recovery Environment (WinRE) updates. Dynamic updates are also called Safe OS updates, and they contain Setup binaries in the form of Setup updates.

These dynamic update packages are intended to be applied to existing Windows images before they are installed. These packages include fixes to the Setup.exe binaries, SafeOS updates for the Windows Recovery Environment, and more.

Dynamic updates also help preserve the content of Language Packs (LP) and Features on Demand (FOD) during an upgrade process. VBScript, for example, is currently an FOD in Windows 11 24H2.

You can download the updates (recovery updates) from the Microsoft Update Catalog : KB5060534 , KB5060532 , KB5060530 , and KB5060534.
