Windows 10 May 2021 Update on Release Preview Channel

The Windows 10 May 2021 Update is complete and Build 19043.928 is the likely release candidate. THE it will go live in May and will bring small improvements, mainly to enterprise customers.

Microsoft officially named the 21H1 version "May 2021 Update" and launched it on the Release Preview Channel.

This is not a huge upgrade and as mentioned above the improvements are more about corporate customers.

Windows 10 May 2021 Update, according to Microsoft, will be more supportive of remote work.

The most important new feature of this update is the external cameras for Windows Hello. In the original changelog, the company mentions that users will now be able to use an external camera as the default solution for Windows Hello even if there are already internal cameras.

In this feature update, Microsoft also makes performance improvements to the (WDAG). This feature is available for both professionals and is a layer of virtualization that can protect your computer when browsing untrusted websites.

This feature is based on Hyper-V and works on compatible hardware where virtualization is enabled in the BIOS settings.

The next update is in the final testing phase and anyone can download it from the Release Preview Channel.
