The update Sun Valley Windows 10 has been around for several months, and it looks like we'll have a few small improvements to try in the coming months.
The next feature update will be Windows 10 in version 21H1 and is supposed to be a small version with improvements for corporate clients.
In the Sun Valley preview builds, Microsoft began testing a feature of its own linetaskbar that integrates the weather widget and newsfeed functionality directly into Windows 10. The new feature adds a icon on the taskbar from which users will be able to either view the newsfeed via MSN or get weather and traffic information.
Microsoft will add this taskbar feature to earlier versions of the operating system. With Build 19043.962 or Build 19042.962, Microsoft adds the news and weather widget to Windows 10 version 21H1 and version 20H2 respectively.
From beforechoice, the Windows 10 taskbar newsfeed widget will show you the latest headlines and stories, but you'll be able to customize the feed by adding your interests to the MSN page. Of course you'll need to run Microsoft's Edge browser to customize the feed, as no other browsers are currently supported.
Microsoft seems to be bringing the new feature to Insiders watching the Release Preview Ring for Windows 10 version 21H1 / 20H2.
But this feature is only being tested in the US, the UK, the Australia and India.
